About

Devam Shah is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of DebaterFlow, helping students learn, practice, and succeed in competitive debate. As a varsity Public Forum debater, he experienced firsthand the disparities in access to high-quality coaching and resources. This inspired him to help build DebaterFlow into a scalable, technology-driven solution that makes elite-level debate preparation accessible to all.

At DebaterFlow, Devam leads product strategy and development, designing and coding core features that deliver real-time feedback, research generation, and structured practice opportunities for debaters. His work focuses on combining artificial intelligence with user-centered design to create intuitive tools that help students improve faster and compete with confidence.

When he’s not debating or coding, Devam coaches middle school Model UN at Jonas Clarke Middle School, where he helps younger students develop confidence in public speaking and global awareness. He also works as a campaign intern with a U.S. House of Representatives team, gaining hands-on experience in politics and civic engagement. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and experimenting in the kitchen, often trying out new recipes.
